Safety Shuttle Guidelines

  • Daytime (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) on-campus rides are limited to those with medical needs (crutches, walking boots, etc.)
  • Outside of the above hours, rides are given if safety concerns exist, not merely for convenience.
  • Priority will be given for students needing non-emergency medical attention, either on or off campus.
  • Time estimates for ride wait time and availability will not be provided.
  • Students should be waiting at the requested pickup location.
    • “No shows” are cause for denial of future use.
  • Ride requests to downtown Waukesha will be restricted to:
    • City of Waukesha Lot #5 (Barstow and Main Streets)
    • Associated Bank (Wisconsin and Grand Avenues)
  • Ride requests for prescriptions are only provided to the requesting student. Students will be required to show proof of prescription pickup by showing pharmacy bag (not medicine prescribed).
  • Students requesting rides off campus for employment, volunteer activity and/or school related activities should have a destination within a (1) mile radius of the Campus Center.
    • Whenever possible, students should coordinate rides with other students who are going to the same destination (i.e. Waukesha Memorial Hospital, nearby elementary schools, etc.).
  • No eating or drinking in the shuttle.
  • Seat belts must be worn while the shuttle is in motion.
